WHAT YOU WILL NEED - Joug 'My Fabric Light Shade' kit including: outer sleeve, inner sleeve with glue strips, hanger and 3 chrome nuts
- Scissors - Fabric
|
STEP ONE
Assemble the outer sleeve by curling to create an oval shape and fastening the two sides together with the pre-cut tabs and slots. STEP TWO
After you have selected your fabric attach the inner sleeve to the back side of the fabric by removing the backing strips. This is best done on a flat surface. Trim the fabric around the inner sleeve as closely as possible.
STEP THREE
Curl the inner sleeve into the outer sleeve ensuring you have the fabric side facing outwards and fasten into the tabs on the outer sleeve. Make sure that the sleeves are aligned correctly and fit snugly together.
STEP FOUR
Using a sharp pointed object make holes in which to thread the light bulb hanger. The ends of the hanger are pushed through the holes. And Voila!
TIPS - These light shades are perfect for either hanging or as a table lamp. - Fine cotton fabrics work best. - Ensure glue is bonded to the fabric before cutting to stop fraying.
